Darlene Love, Mary Testa Join Cast of Broadway Belts! Benefit

2011 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Darlene Love and two-time Tony Award nominee Mary Testa have joined the cast for the second annual Broadway Belts! for PFF, a benefit the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, to be held at Birdland Jazz Club on February 27 at 7pm.

As previously reported, the event will be hosted by Julie Halston, currently appearing on Broadway in Anything Goes, and also feature performances from Book of Mormon star Andrew Rannells and Broadway veteran Seth Rudetsky. Carl Andress will direct the evening, with music direction by Jesse Kissel.

All funds will go toward The Michael Kuchwara Fund for Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis Research, Education and Advocacy. The fund was set up in honor of the Associated Press theater critic and reporter, who died in May of 2010 due to an illness linked to idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF).
