Christie Brinkley to Play Roxie in Chicago on Broadway and on Tour

Supermodel Christie Brinkley will once again play Roxie Hart in the Broadway production of Chicago, at the Ambassador Theatre, April 6-27. She will then headline the national tour of the musical beginning with an engagement at the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles, May 15-27, with other tour dates and cities to be announced.

Brinkley previously played her role last year in both the Broadway and West End productions of the musical. She made her acting debut in 1983 opposite Chevy Chase in the hit feature film National Lampoon’s Vacation and also appeared in its 1997 sequel, Vegas Vacation. Her television credits include NBC’s Mad About You and Lifetime Television’s InStyle Celebrity Weddings which she hosted.

Chicago has been directed by Walter Bobbie and choreographed by Ann Reinking. The creative team includes John Lee Beatty (scenic design), William Ivey Long (costume design), Ken Billington (lighting design), and Scott Lehrer (sound design).
