Cab Calloway Documentary to Premiere on PBS in February

A new music documentary, entitled Cab Calloway: Sketches, will premiere on PBS on as part of the American Masters, airing in the New York metro-area on THIRTEEN Sunday, February 26 at 8pm, and nationally on Monday, February 27.

This tribute to the pioneering jazz legend is being presented in conjunction with Black History Month. Calloway is known for the song “Minnie the Moocher,” his portrayal of Sportin’ Life in the 1952 touring production of Porgy and Bess, his role in the 1980 film The Blues Brothers, and much more.
