Stew Among Musical Contributors for Paul Oakley Stovall’s Clear at Dixon Place

Tony Award winner Stew is among the artists who has contributed additional music for Paul Oakley Stovall’s new musical Clear, which will be given a workshop production at Dixon Place, February 3-19. Daniel Goldstein will direct.

Featuring book, music, and lyrics by Stovall, the show takes as its backdrop Stovall’s real-life transition from an actor/retail clerk in NYC to a member of a Presidential advance team. The piece also features additional music by Ryan Link, Christo Willis and Irv Johnson.

The cast will include Yassmin Alers, George Farmer, Celisse Henderson, Alexis Hightower, Marcus Paul James, Ryan Link, Brad Simmons, Paul Oakley Stovall, and Jon Patrick Walker.

The production will feature musical arrangements and direction by Brad Simmons, musical supervision by George Farmer, costumes by Angela Wendt, and lights by Austin Smith.
