Due to the extension, the company's production of the new musical The People in the Picture which was scheduled to open at the American Airlines Theatre this spring, will now open at Roundabout's Studio 54, keeping its previously reported first preview of April 1 and opening of April 28.
Brian Bedford directs and stars as Lady Bracknell in Earnest, Oscar Wilde's popular comedy of mistaken identity. The cast also features Santino Fontana as Algernon Moncrieff, David Furr as Jack Worthing, Dana Ivey as Miss Prism, Tim MacDonald as Merriman, Paul O'Brien as Lane, Charlotte Parry as Cecily Cardew, Sara Topham as Gwendolyn, and Paxton Whitehead as Reverend Chausible.

Two-time Tony Award winner Donna Murphy will star in The People in the Picture, to be directed by Leonard Foglia. The musical, which features book and lyrics by Iris Rainer Dart and music by Mike Stoller and Artie Butler, focuses on Bubbie, a theater star in pre-war Poland and now a grandmother in New York City who is determined to pass on her stories to the next generation.
