Four-time MAC Award-winner Richard Skipper’s critically acclaimed show, Richard Skipper as “Carol Channing” in Concert, will extend into an open-ended Off-Broadway run at St. Luke’s Theatre. Mark Robert Gordon has directed the production.

The show celebrates the career and persona of theatrical legend Carol Channing, as portrayed by Skipper. Accompanied by a three-piece band, Skipper blends Channing’s standards with original material and other familiar songs. The musical surveys Channing’s life with many stops along the way for Skipper’s “ad-lib” interactions with the audience.

The open-ended Off-Broadway run will officially start on Monday, January 31 to honor Carol Channing’s 90th birthday on that date.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit The Dr. Carol Channing & Harry Kullijian Foundation for The Arts.
