Broadway veterans Michael Cumpsty, Robert Stanton, and Wendy Rich Stetson will participate in a “Discovery Day” dedicated to composer/pianist Franz Liszt, to be held at Carnegie Hall on Saturday, January 29 beginning at 1pm.

The actors will perform a dramatic reading of letters, reviews, and writings by Liszt and his contemporaries.

Led by musicologist and Liszt scholar Alan Walker, the day’s events will also include a panel discussion as well as musical performances by soprano Angela Meade, and pianists Gregory DeTurck and Bradley Moore. Carnegie Hall’s Director of Artistic Planning, Jeremy Geffen, serves as the event’s moderator and is joined by Walker and noted American pianist and author Charles Rosen.
