Christopher Abbott will play Ronnie Shaughnessy, Halley Feiffer will be Little Nun, Mary Beth Hurt will play Head Nun, and Alison Pill will portray Corrinna Stroller in the Broadway revival of John Guare’s The House of Blue Leaves. David Cromer will direct the production, which will begin performances at the Walter Kerr Theatre on April 4, with an opening set for April 25.

They join previously reported stars Ben Stiller as Artie Shaughnessy, Edie Falco as Bananas Shaughnessy and Jennifer Jason Leigh as Bunny Flingus. Additional casting will be announced soon.

The production team will include Scott Pask (scenic design), Jane Greenwood (costume design) and Brian MacDevitt (lighting design).

The play is set during the Pope’s 1965 visit to New York City, which brings the hope of answered prayers and a few unexpected guests to an apartment in Sunnyside, Queens, where Artie Shaughnessy, a zookeeper, pines for a new life as a popular songwriter.
