Kristin Chenoweth, Katie Couric, Gwyneth Paltrow Set for 2011 Episodes of FOX’s Glee

Academy Award winner Gwyneth Paltrow will reprise her role as substitute teacher Holly Holiday on FOX’s Glee, according to EW.com. The actress, who first appeared on the show on the November 16 episode of the hit series, is set to appear in two episodes as a love interest for Will Scheuster, played by series star and Tony Award nominee Matthew Morrison.

EW is also confirming that Tony Award winner Kristin Chenoweth will return for multiple episodes as April Rhoades. She has previously appeared twice on the series.

As previously reported, the show’s February 6 episode will include a guest appearance by CBS News anchor Katie Couric, and a performance of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.”

Glee stars Matthew Morrison, Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Jane Lynch, Chris Colfer, Amber Riley, Jayma Mays, Naya Rivera, Chord Overstreet, Kevin McHale, Heather Morris, Jenna Ushkowitz, Dianna Agron, Darren Criss, Harry Shum, Jr, Jessalyn Gilsig, Mike O’Malley, and Mark Salling. Recurring guest stars have included John Stamos, Cheyenne Jackson, and Charice.
