John Hurt, Kiefer Sutherland Set for New Web Series The Confession

John Hurt and Kiefer Sutherland will star in a new web series entitled The Confession, according to EW.com. The series, comprised of ten five-to-seen minute webisodes, will debut on Hula in March.

The Confession is written and directed by Brad Mirman, and involves a hitman (Sutherland) in a theological discussion with a priest (Hurt).

Hurt has had a long stage career in England appearing in such plays as The Importance of Being Earnest, The Caretaker, and The Seagull. He is best known for his film work, including starring in the film version of The Elephant Man.

Sutherland will star in the Broadway revival of That Championship Season, which will play the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre beginning February 9. He is perhaps best known for starring as Jack Bauer on the hit Fox-TV series 24.
