James Monroe Iglehart, Sally Mayes, Bobby Steggert et al. Set for Songs of Spirit Benefit Concert at Joe’s Pub

Tony Award nominees Sally Mayes and Bobby Steggert will be featured in the benefit concert Songs of Spirit, to be held at Joe’s Pub on Monday, January 31at 7pm. James Monroe Iglehart, of Broadway’s Memphis, will co-host the event with Nick Demos. Demos will also co-direct with Carolyn D. Miller, with musical direction by Mike Tilly.

This concert will feature original songs by emerging musical theatre writers who were asked to submit material expressing what spirituality means to them. Performers will also include Soara-Joye Ross, Jamison Stern, Sarah Farrell, Grace McLean, Pamela Winslow Kashani, Zak Resnick, Marie-France Arcilla, Tom Stuart, Andy Mills, and Kate Ferber.

Proceeds will benefit ONE Healing Arts Company, a new theatre company devoted to producing theatrical work that opens hearts and minds.
