James DeMarse, Cecilia DeWolf, et al. Set for EST’s White People

James DeMarse, Cecilia DeWolf, David Gelles, Delphi Harrington, Matthew Minor, Mickey Solis, and Jennifer Joan Thompson will star in the world premiere of Neil Cuthbert’s White People, to be presented Off-Broadway by Ensemble Studio Theatre, February 16-March 13, with an opening on February 21. Michael Barakiva will direct.

Set on a single day in 1975 the play is a bruising family comedy in which the long repressed conflicts of a middle class WASP family finally explode.

The production will feature sets by Maiko Chii, costumes by Suzanne Chesney, lighting by Cat Tate Starmer, and sound by Matt Sherwin.
