James Beaman, Keith Gerchak, Sarah Stiles, et al. Set for York Theatre’s The Road to Qatar!

The York Theatre Company has announced casting for The Road to Qatar!, to run January 25 – February 27. Phillip George will direct the production, which will feature choreography by Bob Richard and musical direction by David Caldwell.

With book and lyrics by Stephen Cole and music by David Krane, the show is based on the true story of two American musical theatre writers commissioned to write a larger-than-life Broadway-style musical for the Emir of Qatar.

The company will feature James Beaman (Michael), Keith Gerchak (Jeffrey), Bill Nolte (Mansour), Sarah Stiles (Nazirah), and Bruce Warren (Farid).

The creative team will include Michael Bottari & Ronald Case (set, costume & puppet design), Martin Vreeland (lighting design), and Chris Kateff (projection design).
