Eve Best and Jonathan Cake to Appear at Morgan Library & Museum

Broadway veterans Eve Best and Jonathan Cake will appear at the Morgan Library & Museum at 7pm on Thursday, April 28 in the Shakespeare Society's program Shakespeare Works: Much Ado About Nothing. The program will be moderated by Michael Sexton.

The evening is being presented in conjunction with the Morgan's upcoming exhibition, The Changing Face of William Shakespeare, which opens on February 4 and runs through May 1. The exhibit includes portraits of the playwright as well as book, and a 1596 royal gift roll.

Other programs being presented include Garry Wilis' lecture Rome and Rhetoric: Shakespeare's Julius Caesar (March 9, 6:30pm); Shakespeare and Southhampton, featuring Harvard University professor Stephen Greenblatt and a group of actors who will read selections for the Bard's sonnets and poems (March 23, 7pm), and Tonight, Tonight: Romeo and Juliet Meet on the West Side, a family-friendly exploration of West Side Story led by opera singer and educator Jennifer Greene.
