Dane Cook, Josh Hamilton, Heather Jane Rolff, Julia Stiles Set for Fat Pig on Broadway

Heather Jane Rolff will play Helen, the titular character, in the Broadway production of Neil LaBute’s Fat Pig. LaBute will direct the show, which will begin previews on April 12 at the Belasco Theatre in anticipation of an official opening on April 26.

Rolff was part of the company of the Broadway production of Shrek the Musical and has appeared Off-Broadway in The Pirates of Penzance, Wanda’s World, Sophie and Belle, and in the national tour of Les Miserables.

The play, which premiered Off-Broadway in 2004, involves a romance between a conventionally handsome man named Tom and a sexy, plus-sized woman named Helen, and the way society’s obsession with physical beauty affects their relationship.

As previously reported, the company will also feature Dane Cook (Carter), Josh Hamilton (Tom), and Julia Stiles (Jeannie).
