Colman Domingo to Play Billy Flynn in Broadway’s Chicago Beginning January 10

Colman Domingo will return to the role of Billy Flynn in the Broadway production of Chicago, running at the Ambassador Theatre, on Monday, January 10.

Domingo previously played the role this past summer. He most recently appeared on Broadway in The Scottsboro Boys, and received an Obie Award as part of the ensemble cast of Passing Strange. He won a GLAAD Media Award for his solo show, A Boy and His Soul.

In related news, it has also been announced that Bianca Marroquin will extend her run as Roxie Hart through April 3.

Chicago has been directed by Walter Bobbie and choreographed by Ann Reinking. The creative team includes John Lee Beatty (scenic design), William Ivey Long (costume design), Ken Billington (lighting design), and Scott Lehrer (sound design).
