Christopher Jackson, Lin-Manuel Miranda et al. Set for February 25 Freestyle Love Supreme

Tony Award winner Lin-Manuel Miranda will perform in Freestyle Love Supreme, at Irving Plaza on Friday, February 25 at 8pm.

This hip hop improv group spins cues from the audience into instantaneous riffs and fully realized musical numbers. The cast will also feature Anthony Veneziale, Chris “Shockwave” Sullivan, Bill Sherman, Christopher Jackson, and Arthur Lewis.

Miranda is one of the founders of the group. The actor/composer won the Tony Award for his score to In the Heights, and was also Tony-nominated for Best Actor in a Musical for the production, and is currently reprising his role of Usnavi on Broadway through the musical’s closing date of January 9, alongside fellow Freestyler Christopher Jackson, who originated the role of Benny, and who has also returned for the final performances of In the Heights.
