Carey Anderson, Whitney Bashor, Nathan Tysen, et al. Featured on Summer of the Soda Fountain Girls CD, Set for April Release

Carey Anderson, Whitney Bashor, Jody Flader, Nathan Tysen, and Emily Walton are featured on Daniel Zaitchik and the Blue Bottle Collection’s Summer of the Soda Fountain Girls, to be released on April 4. In anticipation of the release, Zaitchik and his band will offer a concert on February 18 at the Canal Room, where fans can “pay-what-you-can” for an early hard copy of album.

The 14-track disc charts a summer time road trip, over the course of a summer. The recording also features Jeremy Bass (guitar), Michael Croiter (percussion/guitars), Rob Jost (bass/french horn), Kate Mollica (voilin), Lauren Riley Rigby (cello), and Chris Sullivan (beatbox/percussion).

Zaitchik’s musicals include Ula, Picnic at Hanging Rock, and Suprema. As a performer he has appeared in Craig Lucas’ Prayer for My Enemy at the Intiman Theatre and The Burnt Part Boys at Barrington Stage Company. He created Blue Bottle Collection, a 10-piece multi-voiced band that plays his songs, in 2009.
