Zoe Caldwell, Jenn Colella, Angela Lansbury, Marin Mazzie, Donna McKechnie Set for Manhattan School of Music Benefit

Zoe Caldwell, Jenn Colella, Marin Mazzie, and Donna McKechnie will perform in a benefit for the Manhattan School of Music, to be presented on Monday, January 18. The evening will pay tribute to Stephen Sondheim. The event will include a VIP post-concert talk with five-time Tony Award winner Angela Lansbury.

The evening will feature a presentation of Lonny Price’s Beautiful Girls with Caldwell, Colella, Mazzie, and McKechnie, to be directed by Price. Paul Gemignani will lead the MSM Chamber Sinfonia in this compilation of Sondheim’s songs that explore a woman’s journey through life reflected through the composer’s music. The piece includes musical numbers from such shows as West Side Story, Gypsy, A Little Night Music, Sunday in the Park with George, Into the Woods, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Company, Follies, and Sweeney Todd.

Tickets are $20 for the concert ($12 student/senior), with $1000 tickets available for the post-concert discussion and dinner featuring Lansbury and the other artists participating in the evening.
