Young Jean Lee’s LEAR Extends at Soho Rep Through February 14

Soho Rep has extended the run of writer/director Young Jean Lee’s LEAR a second time, and the production will now play through February 14.
In LEAR, Lee focuses not on the aging Lear and Gloucester, but rather on their adult children, who turned their backs on their fathers’ suffering. The company features Paul Lazar, April Matthis, Okwui Okpokwasili, Pete Simpson, and Amelia Workman.
The creative team includes Dean Moss (choreography), David Evans Morris (scenic design), Roxana Ramseur (costume design), Raquel Davis (lighting design), and Matt Tierney (sound design).
