Robbie Collier Sublett to Star in Mabou Mines’ Finn

Robbie Collier Sublett will play the title role in Mabou Mines’ world premiere production of Finn, conceived and directed by Sharon Fogarty, and written by Jocelyn Clarke. This digital and live-action adventure based on the ancient Celtic legend of Finn McCool will play NYU’s Skirball Center, March 4-7.

In the piece — which blends traditional storytelling and music with large-scale digital technology — Finn McCool, part mortal, part magical, battles his boyhood demons and emerges a young man ready to lead his band of men. The cast also includes Jarlath Conroy, Carlton Byrd, and Dion Mucciacito.

The creative team will include Misha Zabranska and Misha Votruba (digital animation design), Phil Cunningham and Manus Lunny (composers), Milan David (set), Meganne George (costumes), Mary Louise Geiger (lighting), and John Plenge (sound).
