Piper Perabo and Peter Gallagher will star in Covert Affairs, a new series for USA Network, according to published reports. The show is scheduled to launch during the summer of 2010.

Perabo made her Broadway debut last year in Neil LaBute’s reasons to be pretty. On screen, she’s been seen in such films as Cheaper by the Dozen, The Lazarus Project, and Because I Said So.

Gallagher has starred on Broadway in shows such as the original production of Grease, A Doll’s Life, and the revivals of Guys and Dolls, Noises Off, and The Country Girl. His many film and television credits include Sex, Lies, & Videotape, American Beauty, and The O.C..
