Michele Lee, Debra Monk, Tracee Ellis Ross, and Casey Wilson have joined recurring cast member Katie Finneran in the Off-Broadway production of Love, Loss and What I Wore, now at the Westside Theatre through January 31.
Nora and Delia Ephron’s adaptation of Ilene Beckerman’s 1995 book about clothes and the memories they trigger is directed by Karen Carpenter.
The production features a series of five-person casts that will play in four-week cycles.
Upcoming cast members in the show will include Janeane Garofalo, Carol Kane, June Diane Raphael, Caroline Rhea, Fran Drescher, Didi Conn, Rosie O’Donnell, and Natasha Lyonne.
A portion of the production’s proceeds benefit Dress for Success, a charity that provides work clothing and job support for low-income women. Audience members are invited to donate their gently-used purses and other accessories in the theater lobby.
