Mel B to Replace Marissa Jaret Winokur as Host of Oxygen’s Dance Your A** Off

The Spice Girls‘ Melanie Brown — better known as Mel B — will host the second season of Oxygen’s Dance Your Ass Off, according to a report on People.com. She replaces the dance/weight loss competition series’ original host, Tony Award winner Marissa Jaret Winokur.
Mel B is a dancer and singer, who in addition to her work with Spice Girls, has appeared in Jerry Mitchell’s popular Las Vegas revue, PEEPSHOW.
Winokur won her Tony starring as Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray, and was a fan favorite on season six of Dancing With the Stars. Her films include American Beauty, Fever Pitch, Scary Movie, Teaching Mrs. Tingle, Never Been Kissed, and Beautiful Girl.
