Lynn Nottage, Paul Taylor, et al. to Receive Nelson A. Rockefeller Awards

Artist Kiki Smith, choreographer Paul Taylor, playwright Lynn Nottage, and musician Paquito D’Rivera will be honored with Nelson A. Rockefeller Awards at the Purchase College School of the Arts annual gala, to be held at the Millennium Broadway Hotel/The Hudson Theatre, on March 15. Susie Essman, of Curb Your Enthusiasm fame, will serve as Master of Ceremonies.

The evening will begin with a cocktail reception at 6:30pm, followed by the awards presentation at 8pm. Purchase Conservatory students will present performances as tributes to the honorees. The Nelson A. Rockefeller Awards honor outstanding contributions to the visual and performing arts.
