Dominic Chianese, Dick Latessa, Kathleen Chalfant, and Josh Hamilton star in The Last New Yorker, which will open its New York run at Quad Cinemas on February 19. Harvey Wang has directed the film which features a screenplay by Adam Forgash.

The film centers on two men in their late 70s, lifelong friends and dyed-in-the-wool New Yorkers, as they come to terms with the fact that the Manhattan of their youth has transformed into a playground for the rich.

Chianese, best known for his portrayal of Uncle Junior on The Sopranos, was recently seen Off-Broadway in Still Life. Chalfant’s many theatrical credits include Angels in America, Talking Heads, Wit, and Stories Left to Tell. Latessa won a Tony Award for his performance in Hairpsray. Hamilton is currently appearing off-Broadway in Sam Shepard’s A Lie of the Mind.
