Going Along For the Pride

Hugh Dancy, Ben Whishaw, Andrea Riseborough, and Alexi Kaye Campbell discuss the upcoming Off-Broadway production of The Pride.

British playwright Alexi Kaye Campbell stirred audiences and critics with his play The Pride, which looks at the complicated relationships of three thirtysomethings in two very different time periods. Now, America will get its first glimpse at this provocative work about sexual identity thanks to MCC Theater’s upcoming production of The Pride at the Lucille Lortel Theatre, starring Hugh Dancy, Ben Whishaw, Andrea Riseborough, and Adam James, and directed by Tony Award winner Joe Mantello. TheaterMania recently spoke with Dancy, Whishaw, Riseborough, and Campbell about the work.
