Glee, Hugh Jackman, et al. Win People’s Choice Awards

Tony Award winner Hugh Jackman was named favorite film action star at the 2010 People’s Choice Awards, which were presented on January 6 in Los Angeles. The ceremony, hosted by Queen Latifah, was broadcast live on CBS-TV.

Films and television series honored at the awards included Glee, Inglourious Basterds, Twilight, Up, House, The Big Bang Theory, True Blood, Supernatural, American Idol, and The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Winning actors and entertainers included Johnny Depp, Sandra Bullock, Jim Carrey, Miley Cyrus, Taylor Lautner, Steve Carrell, Hugh Laurie, Alyson Hannigan, Katherine Heigl, Ashton Kutcher, Carrie Underwood, Mariah Carey, Lady GaGa, Taylor Swift, and Keith Urban.
