Eisa Davis, Jeanine Tesori, Van Hunt, et al. Set for Composers Now Events

Symphony Space will present the Composers Now series, which will run February 22-February 28.

Passing Strange star Eisa Davis will perform at the venue on February 26; in addition, she will join Tony Award winner Jeanine Tesori, Joan Tower, Arturo O’Farrill, and Henry Threadgill on February 22 for a panel discussion entitled Speaking of the Arts: Composers Today.

Composers Now events will also be held at venues such as El Museum Del Barrio, Harlem Stage, Merkin Concert Hall, The Morgan Library & Museum, and Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture.

Other artists scheduled to perform as part of the series are the Cassatt Quartet, Arturo O’Farrill’s Afro-Latin Jazz Orchestra, and Grammy Award winner Van Hunt.
