David Anzuelo, Lucy Thurber et al. Set for LAByrinth’s American Artist Identity Symposium

LAByrinth Theater Company will present American Artist Identity Symposium, a free, one-day only event to be held at the company’s new LABspace (307 West 38th Street, Suite 1605), on Sunday, January 31 from 12 Noon to 3pm.

The event will focus on the American artist’s identity in the current political/economic climate. David Anzuelo and Justin Reinsilber will host a panel of invited artists including playwright Lucy Thurber, painter George Towne, spoken word artist Pedro Angel Serrano, film maker Cruz Angeles, and composer and musician Izzi Ramkissoon.

Audience members will also have an opportunity to join the discussion to share their thoughts. Refreshments and live music will be provided.
