Anne Hathaway to Announce Academy Award Nominees

Stage and screen star Anne Hathaway will join Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ President Tom Sherak to announce this year’s Academy Award nominations at a press conference to be held at 8:30am ET on February 2 at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills, according to a report on People.com. The press conference will be aired live.
Hathaway and Sherak will reveal the nominees in 10 of the 24 categories. This year’s Academy Award ceremony will be broadcast on March 7 at 8pm on ABC from the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood.
The actress starred as as Viola in last summer’s Shakespeare in the Park production of Twelfth Night; her additional stage credits include Carnival, Jane Eyre, and Gigi. She received an Academy Award nomination for Rachel Getting Married, and also appeared in the films Bride Wars, The Devil Wears Prada, Get Smart, Brokeback Mountain, and The Princess Diaries.
