Showtime to Debut Toni Collette’s United States of Tara on January 18

Showtime will debut its new half-hour comedy The United States of Tara, starring Tony Award nominee Toni Collette as a mother struggling with Disassociative Identity Disorder, at 10pm on Sunday, January 18.

The series will also star John Corbett, Rosemarie DeWitt, Brie Larson, Keir Gilchrist, and Nathan Corddry.

Collette received a Tony Award nomination for her role as Queenie in Michael John LaChiusa’s The Wild Party and an Academy Award nomination for The Sixth Sense. Her many film credits include Muriel’s Wedding, About A Boy, The Hours, In Her Shows, and Little Miss Sunshine. She also starred in the television version of Donald Margulies’ Dinner With Friends.
