The Roundabout Theater Company will present Broadway revivals of the Charles Strouse-Lee Adams-Michael Stewart musical Bye Bye Birdie, directed and choreographed by Robert Longbottom, and Noel Coward’s Present Laughter, starring Victor Garber and directed by Nicholas Martin, as part of its 2009-2010 season.

Longbottom is best known as the director of Side Show and will direct the upcoming national tour of Dreamgirls. Martin directed Garber in Present Laughter in 2007 at Boston’s Huntington Theatre Company. The actor recently appeared in the Roundabout’s gala concert presentation of Stephen Sondheim’s A Little Night Music and last appeared on Broadway in 1998 in Yasmina Reza’s Art.

As previously announced, film and stage star Sienna Miller will star in the Roundabout production of British playwright’s Patrick Marber’s After Miss Julie in Fall 2009. The play, which will be directed by Mark Brokaw and produced in association with Sonia Friedman Productions and Ostar Productions, transposes August Strindberg’s 1888 play about sex and class to an English country house on the eve of Labour’s historic landslide in 1945.
