Reading of Heart Musical, Allies To Now Take Place at BLVD

A free reading of the musical Allies, featuring songs by rock band Heart (Ann & Nancy Wilson), with a book by Celina Carvajal and Maggie F. Levin, will now take place at 9pm on Monday, January 26 at BLVD (199 Bowery) instead of the recently shuttered Zipper Factory.

This concert-style musical is about a love triangle that rocks the lives of a brother and sister when a seductive and secretive man enters their lives. Songs will include chart-topping hits such as “Barracuda,” “These Dreams,” and “Alone.”

Carvajal will co-star with Brian Charles Rooney and Chris Hall, with Ryan Bogner reading stage directions. Musical direction will be by Paul Leschen.
