Paul Simon, Leonard Cohen, LaBelle to Play Reopened Beacon Theatre

Grammy Award winner Paul Simon, who wrote the score for the short-lived Broadway show The Capeman, will reopen the restored Beacon Theatre with a pair of concerts on February 13-14.

Other acts set to play the renovated venue include Leonard Cohen (February 19), Emmylou Harris and Patty Griffin (February 20), B.B King and Buddy Guy (February 21), LaBelle (February 26), the Levon Helm Band (March 5-6), the Allman Brothers Band, who will 10 concerts between March 9-21, and Tyler Perry’s new play The Marriage Connection, which will play there in April.
