Billy Elliot to Hold Actors Fund Performance January 25

The hit Broadway musical Billy Elliot, currently at the Imperial Theatre, will hold an Actors Fund Special Performance on Sunday, January 25 at 8pm.

Based on the 2000 film of the same name, the show tells the tale of a young boy with a dream of being a dancer. The musical features music by Elton John, book and lyrics by Lee Hall, direction by Stephen Daldry, and choreography by Peter Darling.

The principal cast includes David Alvarez, Trent Kowalik and Kiril Kulish who alternate in the role of Billy, along with Haydn Gwynne (Mrs. Wilkinson), Gregory Jbara (Dad), Carole Shelley (Grandma), and Santino Fontana (Tony). Featured roles include David Bologna and Frank Dolce alternating as Billy’s friend Michael, Stephen Hanna as Billy’s Older Self, Joel Hatch as George, Leah Hocking as Mum, Thommie Retter as Mr. Braithwaite, and Erin Whyland as Debbie.
