Aidem, Heisler, Rich, Roucheux Set for Epic Theatre Readings

Betsy Aidem, Laura Heisler, Elizabeth Rich, and Rick Roucheux will participate in staged readings of two plays by Ari Roth, to be presented by Epic Theatre Ensemble at the Manhattan Theatre Club Studios on January 18 at 3pm and 7 pm. Will Pomerantz will direct.

The plays will include the 15-year-old drama Born Guilty, which Roth based on the internationally renowned book by Austrian Jewish journalist Peter Sichrovsky that includes interviews with children of Nazi’s and SS Officers, and a sequel, The Wolf In Peter (Or My Meeting In The Beer Tent With Jorg). In this new play, Roth chronicles his own journey of self-discovery as he travels to Europe to confront Sichrovsky about his decision to become a member of Austria’s right-wing Freedom Party, and an ally of its leader, Jorg Haider.
