American Ballet Theatre star Marcelo Gomes will star in Dances Patrelle’s Come Rain/Come Shine, featuring the songs of Judy Garland, to be presented as part of the company’s season, April 16-19, at The Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College (68th Street between Park & Lexington Avenues).

The company will also present the world premiere of Patrelle’s Murder At The Masque; the casebook of Edgar Allan Poe, set to a commissioned score by Patrick Soluri and a scenario by Justin Allen. It has set design by Gillian Bradshaw-Smiths, costumes by Rita B. Watson, and lighting by David Grill.

Gomes, who became a principal dancer in 2002, has been featured in ABT’s productions of Swan Lake, Romeo and Juliet, and Giselle, among others. He recently performed parts of Twyla Tharp’s Sinatra Suite at the Kennedy Center Honors.
