The American Federation of Television and Radio Artists will honor Broadway veterans Susan Lucci and Maureen McGovern with its 2008 Media and Entertainment Excellence awards on January 28 at New York City’s Gotham Hall, according to Variety.

Lucci, who starred on Broadway in Annie Get Your Gun, is best known for her Emmy Award-winning work as Erica Kane on the ABC daytime drama All My Children.

McGovern, whose Broadway credits include Little Women and The Pirates of Penzance, will be honored for her over 30-year career in music. She recorded the Oscar-winning themes to The Poseidon Adventure and The Towering Inferno and has become a popular recording and cabaret artist. She will appear at NYC’s Metropolitan Room next month.
