Olivia Newton-John’s Sydney DVD, Live CD Get January 15 Release

Olivia Newton-John and the Sydney Symphony (Live at the Sydney Opera House), a three-hour DVD, and Olivia’s Live Hits, a CD featuring 10 songs recorded at the Sydney Opera House, will be released on January 15 by Capitol/EMI.

The DVD features Newton-John singing over two dozen hits associated with her four-decade-long career. The CD’s selections include hits from the films Xanadu and Grease, in which she starred, including “Have You Never Been Mellow,” “Magic,” “Hopelessly Devoted to You,” “You’re the One That I Want,” “Suddenly,” and “Xanadu.” Both Grease and Xanadu are currently playing on Broadway.

Newton-John also appeared in the films Two of a Kind, It’s My Party, and Sordid Lives, which was based on the play by Del Shores, and the television films A Mom for Christmas and A Christmas Romance.
