Justin Bond to Star in Lustre at PS 122

Tony Award nominee Justin Bond, best known as “Kiki” of Kiki & Herb, will star in Lustre, February 20-March 9 at P.S. 122. The show, which is described as a “Mid-Winter Trans-Fest,” will also include Our Lady J, Glenn Marla, Nathan Carrera …and The Pixie Harlots, and other special guests. Jonnah Speidel will provide musical direction.

Bond was nominated for a Tony for Best Special Theatrical Event for Kiki & Herb: Alive on Broadway, and has also received an Obie, Bessie, and Ethyl Eichelberger Award. He has also performed a solo show, Glamour Damage, and regularly emcees the performance series Weimar New York. His film credits include Shortbus and Imaginary Heroes.

Following the Thursday, March 6 performance, there will be a post-show celebration during which the winner of the 2008 Ethyl Eichelberger Award will be announced.
