Daphne Zuniga will join Aaron Davidman, Heather Gordon, and Howard Swain in the West Coast premiere of Theresa Rebeck’s The Scene, February 2-March 8. The show will be directed by Amy Glazer.

This black comedy is set in the world of New York’s entertainment scene where protagonist Charlie, an unemployed New York actor, is married to Stella, a producer of a morning television news program. After Charlie ends up without much-needed work, he gets caught up in an affair with Clea, a fresh-faced if not-that-innocent ingénue. Rebeck’s other plays include Mauritius, Bad Dates, and Spike Heels.

Zuniga is best known for her starring role on the TV series Melrose Place. Her other film and television credits include The Sure Thing, Gross Anatomy, Space Balls, American Dreams, and Nip/Tuck.
