Cooper, Hines, Jenkins, Moore, et al. Set for Mama, I Want to Sing

New casting has been announced for the Amas Musical Theatre's benefit concert presentation of the musical Mama, I Want to Sing on Monday, March 31 at New World Stages. The concert will be directed by Rajendra Ramoon Maharaj, with choreography by James Harkness and Michael Susko, and musical direction by David Alan Bunn.

The cast will feature Chuck Cooper, Maurice Hines, Capathia Jenkins, Melba Moore, Brandi Chavonne Masey, Ahmaya Knoelle Higginson, Ted Levy, Chaundra Cameron, Danielle Chambers, Ryan Duncan, Jessica Fields, Carmen Ruby Floyd, Robert H. Fowler, Mackenzie Frye, Jene Hernandez, Vanessa A. Jones, Ono Okera, John Eric Parker, Wayne Pretlow, and Christopher Zelno.

The evening will also honor Tony Award winner Phylicia Rashad and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
