Cerveris, Harner, Harrison, O’Hare, et al. Set for Edward II Reading

Michael Cerveris, Jason Butler Harner, Randy Harrison, and Denis O’Hare will head the cast of the Red Bull Theater’s “Revelation Readings” of Bertolt Brecht’s Edward II at 7pm on Monday, January 7 at Playwrights Horizons’ Peter Jay Sharp Theater. The reading will be directed by Michael Sexton, and the cast will also include Matthew Rauch, Davis Hall, Derek Lucci, Daniel Stewart, and Hannah Cabell.

The reading series will continue on Monday, January 14 with Kay Matschullat’s Don’t Fuck With Love, starring Jeanine Serrailes, Mary Bacon, and Michael Izqueirdo, and directed by Lear deBessonet, and James’ Shirley The Cardinal on Monday, January 21, starring Roger Rees and Heidi Ambruster, and directed by Carl Forsman. Both readings will also take place at 7pm at the Peter Jay Sharp Theater.

Red Bull Theater is also currently producing Edward Marlowe’s Edward the Second, in an adaptation by Garland Wright. The run has been extended through January 27.
