Full casting has been announced for the City Center Encores! production of Applause, directed and choreographed by Kathleen Marshall, to run February 7-10. The show, which features music by Charles Strouse, lyrics by Lee Adams, and a book by Betty Comden and Adolph Green, is based on the film All About Eve and the original story by Mary Orr. Rob Berman will be the musical director.

In addition to previously announced star Christine Ebersole as Margo Channing, the principal cast will feature Erin Davie as Eve Harrington, Kate Burton as Karen Richards, Mario Cantone as Duane Fox, Tom Hewitt as Howard Benedict, Michael Park as Bill Sampson, Megan Sikora as Bonnie, and Chip Zien as Buzz Richards.

The ensemble will feature Tony Freeman, Bob Gaynor, David Studwell, J.D. Webster, Cole Burden, John Carroll, Paula Leggett Chase, Susan Derry, Sarah Jane Everman, Lisa Gajda, Gregg Goodbrod, Justin Greer, James Harkness, Joe Komara, Raymond Lee, Monica Patton, Manuel Santos, Jennifer Savelli, Chaunteé Schuler, Steven Sofia, Kevin Vortmann, and Kristen Beth Williams.

Ebersole won Tony Awards for her performances in Grey Gardens — in which she also starred with Davie — and 42nd Street. Her other Broadway credits include Dinner at Eight, Steel Magnolias, Gore Vidal’s The Best Man, and Camelot. She has appeared in four previous Encores! shows, including Allegro and Lady in the Dark. In February, she will also perform with Billy Stritch as part of Lincoln Center’s American Songbook series.
