Armbruster, AuCoin, Duncan, et al. Cast in Mint’s The Fifth Column

The cast for the Mint Theater Company production of The Fifth Column will include James Andreassi, Heidi Armbruster, Kelly AuCoin, Ryan Duncan, Ronald Guttman, John Hayden, Joe Hickey, Carlos Lopez, Ned Noyes, Maria Parra, Joe Rayome, Nicole Shalhoub, and Teresa Yenque. The play, to be directed by Jonathan Bank, will run February 26 – May 4, with an opening set for March 27.

The Fifth Column, by Ernest Hemingway, is not the dramatization of a novel or story, but a drama written for the stage by the celebrated author. It centers on the private and political passions of Philip Rawlings, a counter-espionage agent, and his romance with Dorothy Bridges, a journalist. Against a backdrop of treachery and danger, Dorothy and Philip take solace in each other’s arms.

The artistic team will include Vicki R. Davis (set design), Clint Ramos (costume design), Jeff Nellis (lighting design), Jane Shaw (sound design).
