Aidan Quinn Completes Cast of Public’s Conversations in Tusculum

Aidan Quinn will play Brutus in The Public Theatre’s world premiere of Richard Nelson’s Conversations in Tusculum, which will run February 19-March 23, with an official opening on March 11.

He joins Brian Dennehy (Cicero), David Strathairn (Cassius), Maria Tucci (Servilla), Joe Grifasi (Syrus), and Gloria Reuben (Porcia) in the play, which chronicles those people entangled in Julius Caesar’s world of manipulation and power. Nelson’s other work includes Some Americans Abroad, Two Shakespearean Actors, Frank’s Home, and Rodney’s Wife.

Quinn’s stage credits include A Streetcar Named Desire, Fool for Love, A Lie of the Mind, and The Exonerated. His many film and television credits include An Early Frost, Reckless, Empire Falls, The Book of Daniel, and Desperately Seeking Susan.
