Michael Greif will direct the The Public Theater's Shakespeare in the Park production of Romeo & Juliet, which will have a five-week run at the Delacorte Theatre in Central Park, June 5-July 8.

Greif is currently represented on Broadway by Grey Gardens and Rent. His previous directing credits for the Public include 365 Days/365 Plays, Satellites, Dogeaters, and Pericles.

The second show of the 2007 Shakespeare in the Park season will be announced at a later date.
