Kathleen Chalfant, Hazelle Goodman, Ain Gordon, and Frank Wood will star in the Naked Angels production of Spalding Gray: Stories Left to Tell, to run February 20-May 13 at the Minetta Lane Theatre, with an official opening slated for March 6. Additional casting will be announced at a later date.

The show is co-conceived by Gray’s widow, Kathleen Russo, and Lucy Sexton, who also directs. The pair has assembled both renowned work of the late author and playwright — including excerpts from pieces such as Swimming to Cambodia and Monster in a Box — along with never-before-seen work to chronologically tell the story of Gray’s life. He committed suicide in 2004 after a two-year-battle with depression caused by a head injury sustained in a car accident in Ireland. An earlier version of the piece was seen at PS 122 and UCLA’s Freud Playhouse in Los Angeles.

Chalfant’s many stage credits include Wit, Angels in America, and Great Expectations. Goodman is known for her solo shows and her appearances in the films Deconstructing Harry and Hannibal. Gordon is the author of such works as Wally’s Ghost and The Family Business, in which he also appeared. Wood won the Tony Award for his work in Side Man and appeared Off-Broadway in Spring Awakening.
