Bernhard, Maggart, Pizzarelli, et al. Set for Steppenwolf’s Traffic Jam

Actress/singer Sandra Bernhard, and cabaret favorites Maude Maggart and John Pizzarelli will be among the artists participating in Steppenwolf Theatre Company’s second annual Traffic Jam, February 22-March 12.

This three week festival is dedicated to celebrating the unique intersection of music, language, and performance. It will include two installments of Chicago’s Stories on Stage series, one called “Tilting at Windmills,” directed by Cheryl Lynn Bruce, and one entitled “I Had a Dream,” directed by Michael Edgar Myers.

Other performers include singer Oleta Adams, percussionist Kahil El Zabar, singer Dar Williams, jazz guitarist, Bill Frisell, singer-guitarist Howard Fishman, musical duo The Ditty Bops, and singer-instrumentalist Jon Brion.
